The Biennial Report of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) provides a summary of the activities of the Agency during the 2010/2011 biennium. This new report describes the various activities led by the Agency’s scientists, following the Medium-Term Strategy for 2010-2014. These activities span research areas from descriptive epidemiology to cancer registration and analysis of data on cancer occurrence and trends, to basic research into the genetic and molecular aspects of cancer development to pathogenesis and prevention studies. This Report also contains details of the staff and organization of IARC and its activities, as well as a complete list of publications and articles authored by its scientists and their collaborators during the biennium.
